TEMESIST lifts load of industry onto rack

The rack system producer Temesist will grow its market share by increasing production area threefold ISTANBUL - Temesist storage and rack system was established in 1986 and since then continuously letting its market share increased in storage and rack systems, the firm raised its turnover 50 percent in 2007 by giving importance to R & D studies. Having 8,000 tons production capacity in 2007, the firm foresees to realize 12 thousand tons production for 2008 and 32 thousand tons for 2009. Serving too many sectors predominantly to automotive, food, logistic, packaging, machinery and printing, Temesist is one of the two firms in Turkey being able to install warehousing construction with the rack system. "In spite of this system requires very detail static calculations, however its building process is very easy and economic because of instead of carrier columns, rack columns are used, say Halil Ibrahim Gul, General Manager of the firm. Giving examples from the firm's works of which they had made, GM Gul said, "In addition building 20 thousand sq meters archive of Turkcell, Temesist is also installing the rack sys- tems of big institutional companies from both domestic and foreign such as Toyota, Tupras, Coca Cola, Arcelik, Vestel, Avea, GidaSA, Assan, Ulker, Filli Boya (Be-tek), Yurtici Lojistik, Aras Lojistik, Sisecam, Evyap, Canakkale Sera-mik and 80 percent of food companies in Ankara." Recalling that they were manufacturing the highest single part rack systems of Turkey, Temesist General Manager Halil Ibrahim Gul went on to say; "we lift Turkish industry's load onto rack. We are building a new factory in the province of Manisa locating on an area of 14 thousand sq meter." Having established as a personal firm 21 years ago, today the firm exports to the countries such as Belgium, France, Bulgaria, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Azerbaijan. "Firms in every sector have storing need. Currently we have regional directorates in Ankara, Bursa and Izmir. In a near future one will be open in Adana," noted Gul. Temesist manages its all activities conforming to the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System and TUV certificate. Taking its product molds' patent, the firm has enlarged its administration staff by passing to ERP system. Being decisive to grow its market share in the sector, Temesist has representatives in Iraq and Kazakhstan. Temesist product diversity are heavy load pallet racks, rack type shelves, mezzanine rack systems, drive-in rack systems, middle and light load systems, sliding rack systems with pulley, archive systems, carrying pallets, all kind of rack systems that used in similar warehousing and stacking. The firm manufactures its products at its own facilities that equipped with modern manufacturing technology in the district of Beylikduzu.
